Nathan, is proud to be from the state of Vermont in the, USA. He has been based in Europe and China for the past 9 years, where he has developed extensive international and emerging market experience in finance, operations and business development activities.  Nathan works closely with the senior team at Cada Vida on developing strategic partnerships and keeping the books of the foundation in order. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer at ScanTrust, a company he co-founded, which focuses on helping brand owners and governments protect physical goods from counterfeiting and illicit trade. He also serves as director in various institutions, including Transfer CAP, an investment and advisory firm focus on China’s cleantech industry, and the Bruce J. Anderson Foundation, which provides grants for preventive programs, direct services and groundbreaking initiatives in the mental health, environmental protection, historic and archival preservation and arts fields.

Nathan’s cultivated beliefs include gender and opportunity equality. He believes in women’s capabilities and their essential role in the development of society. After sppending time in Colombia with his wife, CadaVida founder Viviana, Nathan has grown very fond of Colombian culture, and immensely enjoys the colorful heritage, dancing to salsa music (or at least trying to dance) and having the typical “bandeja paisa” traditional dish.
Nathan graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Middlebury College and speaks English, Spanish and Mandarin
