He fortified the brand’s e-commerce and drove Yallo to the top of the list of Connect’s best mobile network in Switzerland in 2018.

About yallo

yallo is a Swiss mobile communications provider based in Zurich and owned by Sunrise Communications AG. The brand was launched on 15 May 2005 by TDC Switzerland AG as the first service provider for cost-effective mobile and SMS communications in Switzerland.

yallo offers its prepaid and postpaid customers throughout Switzerland 3G and 4G coverage in the Sunrise network. In Connect’s 2018 mobile network test, the latter was named “best mobile network in Switzerland”. Sunrise’s network again scored “outstanding” in the following year. yallo continues to pursue its goal of offering the most attractive prices on the Swiss market. In March 2017 yallo carried out a rebranding.

Biography

Sunrise has announced Giuseppe Bonina as its new head of Yallo, Lebara, Ortel and 123mobile (Yol). According to “Finanz und Wirtschaft” (FuW), the change will take effect immediately. At the same time, Bonina will become a member of the management board. Upon request, Sunrise confirms that the Telko has created a new position as Division Head Yol.

According to “finanzen.ch”, Bonina has been employed by Sunrise since 2013. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry and worked for Orange mobile before joining Lebara in 2007, as can be seen from his Linkedin page.
