As head of the recently-formed digital agency, she’s leading Singapore’s move towards digital government. Her stated mission is to empower the country through technology. “It’s giving people time to do the things that matter. Less form filling, more time spent with loved ones,” she says.
Jacqueline and her team partners a wide range of government agencies to deploy digital, data science, IoT and other technologies to deliver public impact, as well as to ensure the resiliency and cybersecurity needs of government systems. She plays a leading role in the Government’s Smart Nation and Digital Government initiatives
Jacqueline was previously Managing Director of IDA, and has held key positions in the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Finance, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Defence. Jacqueline was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2014.
Jacqueline graduated from Oxford and Cambridge, and also has an MBA from INSEAD. She serves on a range of boards including the Infocomm Media Development Authority, Defence Science and Technology Agency, Institute of Systems Science, Singapore Pools and St Luke’s Eldercare.
