Biography

Mirjam Schlup is Director of Social Services in the Department of Social Affairs of the City of Zurich. She is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Switzerland’s largest communal social services network. She represents Zurich’s socio-political interests in meetings with the public, political councils and expert groups and continuously develops Zurich’s social city life, child and youth services, social welfare and civil guardianship measures.

Mirjam studied Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich and completed postgraduate degrees in Corporate Development and Digital Innovation and Business Transformation.
