Why you should listen
As head of the largest communal social services network in Switzerland, Mirjam is responsible for the operation of five social centres and various other citywide services. Social Services Zurich has over 900 employees working tirelessly to ensure every member of society has access to effective social welfare as and when they need it most.
Mirjam is passionate about value-based leadership, as she is a strong believer that organisations and their services are only as capable as the people they employ. Respect, appreciation and trust are core values for Mirjam, both inside and outside her organisation.
By driving participatory strategic development and inclusive decision building, Mirjam ensures her cross-functional teams develop timely programmes that help all members of society live self-determined, dignified lives, allowing them to integrate into society and empowering them to shape their own districts.
You can meet Mirjam at Worldwebforum 2020, where she will be appearing as a Future of Work Track Speaker.
