THE FUTURE OF BUYING IS VISUAL

WHY YOU SHOUD LISTEN

In 2018, Pinterest nears US$1 billion in ad sales by effectively merging visual, social and search ads into one digital platform. From it’s platform, users pin their “lust-lists” and inspirations for shopping and experiences to a virtual scrapbook. Imagine, what if they pinned and shared your products? Consumers are creating catalogue content for you and it would allow you instant access to a captive audience who are in the mood to shop.

With investor and market confidence and a market cap valuation at US$12.3 billion, it is clear, why Pinterest is the new power tool to leverage for emerging and established retailers alike. Scott Coleman is responsible for the tech-unicorn’s international expansion and says “At Pinterest, we’re solving a meaningful global challenge — how do you help people discover things? It all boils down to being able to deliver localized and personalized user experiences. ”
