A STRONG TRACK RECORD IN RETAILING

As of 2016 Stefan Gross holds the role of the Chief Commercial Officer at Zurich Airport – Switzerland’s most important commercial platform for travel retail, domestic retail, food & beverage, services and advertising.

Between 2010 and 2015 Stefan Gross acted as the CEO of Switzerland’s leading Shopping Center Glatt located in the North of Zurich. Stefan has long been a retailer covering key roles for IKEA’s retail operations in Switzerland, Australia, Germany and Russia. He has a strong track record among the whole range of roles within shopping center management, covering development / asset management, center operations, as well as positioning and leasing strategies and center marketing. He is an active member of the GCSC, SCSC and ICSC. Stefan studied economics at Zurich University.

THE CIRCLE

THE CIRCLE will become the place to be at Zurich Airport. A new centre with 180,000 m2 of floor space is set to enhance Zurich’s attractiveness well into the future. The site will offer an unprecedented blend of business and lifestyle, culture and entertainment, hotels and conference facilities, education and medicine. THE CIRCLE is being built as part of a co-ownership structure: Flughafen Zürich AG holds 51% and Swiss Life AG 49%. Completion is scheduled for 2020.

BRANDS & DIALOGUE

The Brands & Dialogue module at THE CIRCLE offers companies the possibility to bring all the facets of their brands to life in multi-functional spaces. The focus will be on the desire to present products, tell stories, exchange views with customers, media representatives and opinion-shapers and other stakeholder groups, and to create a communicative, service-oriented venue offering a high-quality experience.
